The first virtual Whovians of Color Meetup was organized to get us through the homestretch of winter during an isolating pandemic. We gathered on Zoom to hangout, make new friends, reconnect with familiar faces, and talk about Doctor Who! After the event’s success, we decided to make The Meetup—as it will be referred to on this site—a recurring event.
Quarterly, we gather on Zoom with other fans of color across the globe, to talk about the show and our own experiences within the fandom. The Meetup is non-exclusive—other marginalized fans are welcome to attend—but it is a safe space for fans of color! Learn more and join us for the next one!
